JOHNS, Reginald Arthur

No.1407116, Aircraftsman 1st class, Reginald Arthur JOHNS
Aged 24

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
Killed in road accident on Saturday 22nd December 1945

Reginald Arthur JOHNS is believed to have been born in Plymouth (Q4-1921 5B:410), son of ? JOHNS.

In 1944 (Bury St Edmunds Q3 4A:2349) he married Violet Anna STEWARD of Barnham, daughter of George Frederick and Alice Sophia STEWARD.

That is as much as has been found so far and being post 1911 census it makes it so much harder to find data

It has not been found where he was stationed. Going to Barnham on Christmas leave, on a motor bike with LAC Edward Chitty, they collided with a 6 wheel (American?) lorry and both were killed.

Reginald Johns is buried in Barnham (St.Gregory)Churchyard with his sister in law Alice Maud STEWARD
